We charge {price} for a diagnostic visit, which includes full system inspection and diagnosis. If you proceed with the repair, this fee is credited towards the work.

For straightforward repairs where you can clearly describe the problem over the phone, we may be able to provide an estimate before visiting.

Yes. We regularly repair and service systems installed by other companies. We don’t need to be the original installer to work on your system.

Yes. We offer emergency callout service for urgent repairs outside normal business hours and on weekends.

Emergency service includes an additional callout fee on top of standard diagnostic and repair costs. When you call, we’ll explain the total cost before dispatching a technician.

Yes. All our repairs come with warranty on both parts and labour. Warranty periods vary depending on the parts used, but typically:

• Labour warranty: {time period}
• Parts warranty: Manufacturer warranty (typically 12 months minimum)

If anything goes wrong with our repair work, we’ll sort it out.

Same-day service is available for urgent repairs, subject to availability. When you call, we’ll let you know the earliest we can get to you. For most urgent callouts in our Western Sydney service area, we can be there within a few hours.

After-hours and weekend emergency service is also available with an additional callout fee.

This depends on several factors:

Consider repair if:

• System is less than 10 years old
• Repair cost is less than 50% of replacement cost
• System has been well-maintained
• Only one component has failed

Consider replacement if:

• System is 15+ years old
• Requiring frequent repairs
• Energy bills are high
• Repair cost approaches replacement cost
• Refrigerant type is being phased out

We’ll give you honest advice about what makes sense for your situation. Sometimes repair is the smart choice, sometimes replacement is better long-term.

Most repairs are completed during the initial visit. Occasionally, we need to order specific parts that aren’t standard stock items.

If this happens:

• We’ll let you know what needs to be ordered and how long it’ll take
• We’ll give you options if temporary measures can help
• We’ll schedule the follow-up visit to complete the repair
• You only pay once the repair is complete and working

• Payment plans through Brighte for larger repairs (subject to approval)

Payment is due upon completion of the repair.

If your system has stopped working:

• Check your circuit breakers haven’t tripped
• Make sure the system is actually turned on
• Check the batteries in your remote control
• Clear any obvious debris from around the outdoor unit

Keep comfortable while waiting:

• Use fans to circulate air
• Close blinds to block direct sun
• Stay hydrated
• Consider staying elsewhere if vulnerable people are affected by extreme heat

Don’t attempt to:

• Open the outdoor unit yourself
• Add refrigerant yourself
• Force components that seem stuck
• Use the system if it’s making strange noises or smoking
